A fishing day will take approximately 8 hours. Because of the weather circumstances sometimes we have to decide to shorten the day for safety reasons. Start and finish times are up to you.

You decide what a day looks like. You decide where you want to fish and what techniques you want to use. Of course I will advise you of what will works best in any situation. RiverGuide will contact you a few days in advance of the trip to discuss the tactics for the day.

You have to make sure you have the right license. Of course I can arrange licenses for you. Contact me for more information on licenses.

There can be 3 people on the boat including the guide.

All necessary fishing tackle, lures and bait will be on board, but of course you can bring your own. Don’t forget to bring licenses, boots, rain wear and extra warm clothing because it can be very cold on a boat, camera, food and drinks and a good sense of humor!

Yes, most of the times it is possible to go out on the river. Severe weather conditions occasionally stop us from going fishing, if so we will arrange a new time and date to try again.

Your payment can be made by money transfer to my account number 1655844957 of the Rabobank in Waalwijk on behalf of M.H.G. Huigevoort. Bookings taken two weeks or less in advance of departure have to pay cash before we start fishing.

Yes when you have a proper reason for it. RiverGuide will pay your money back as soon as possible.

RiverGuide has public liability insurance. I advise you to take out a travel Insurance.

I have a First Aid certificate and on board there is a First Aid kit with all necessary equipment to deal with small accidents.
